On Saturday, 12th November 2005 the Lernakademie celebrated its official opening.
Many people took the opportunity of having a look at the attractive, new rooms of the
academy and of getting to know the future teachers and talking to them.
Headmistress of the Lernakademie Darmstadt is the teacher Birgit Schneider-Weiffenbach who has had a long teaching experience. She has been working for many years as well as a teacher for adults as in public schools teaching children and young adults.
The main targets of the Lernakademie Darmstadt are intensive courses in German as a foreign language in the morning and tuition for all subjects up to the A-level in the afternoon.
